Due to a change of ownership we are no longer able to sell mobile homes on Château de Drancourt. We now have an alternative campsite 10kms from St. Valéry. Please call 0800 977 7004 for details.

With three swimming pools and a popular golf driving-range, it's no surprise that Château Drancourt has always been a real hit with Eurocamp and Keycamp customers. This, coupled with the fact that the park is within easy driving distance of the channel ports and the Tunnel, makes Drancourt a great place to locate a holiday home. When the surroundings are this good, why drive further south?

Wonderfully maintained by its much respected owner, the Château de Drancourt offers some of the best pitches in northern France. Some offer shaded spots, others enjoy a sunny aspect – but all enjoy a generous slice of the park’s landscaped gardens and level, grassy meadows. The park attracts a good mix of visitors, from young families to mature couples are drawn to Drancourt's sociable atmosphere and intimate chateau bar and restaurant.

On site, underneath the canopy of rich green woodland you can enjoy a good range of sports, from football and boules to tennis and archery. In the evenings, you can look forward to a great value meal in the cosy bistro, or a convivial drink in one of the two bars. One thing's for sure, you'll be glad your journey south ended here.

Fast ferries and even faster Euro tunnel links can now whisk you to Northern France in next to no time. But here, in the folds of the Picardy countryside, you really will feel as if you are in another world. Stroll along the quayside of nearby St Valéry-sur-Somme with its half-timbered medieval houses and pretty marina. Normally quite tranquil, the town bursts into life and colour on market days and in high season, when it holds summer fêtes such as the one to celebrate William the Conqueror's embarkation in 1066.

The Somme Delta is one of the world's leading nature reserves, a tranquil hinterland full of wonderful sights for bird watchers and wildlife lovers. This region, of course, is heavily intertwined with the events of the First World War – and modern history lovers will find tours of the trenches and battlefields compelling, and incredibly moving. And from a more historical perspective, the 'Cathedral of Colour' at Amiens will take your breath away. Or for architectural splendour you can’t beat the opulent resort of Le Touquet which was so popular with Noel Coward’s set in the 1930s.

Travel a little further and one of the world's greatest capitals is yours to explore. Whether you go to shop or to sightsee, Paris is definitely the place to soak up that unmistakable French joie de vivre. Why not drop into Disneyland ® Resort on the way for some more thrills and spills.
