A 4 star well-run park on the edge of the Esterel forest, La Baume is like a self-contained village, with a range of facilities just yards from your door.
The living is easy at La Baume, one of the largest and best planned parks in the south of France. A hit with families and couples alike, La Baume's range of services and facilities makes this park very hard to leave.
For your daily exercise needs you've got 2 outstanding pool complexes complete with water slides and an indoor pool, not to mention the many easy trails through the surrounding coastal woodlands and sand dunes. Reward all that hard work with a treatment or two at the site's rejuvenating sauna and steam room.
Traditional French fare is served in the park's decent restaurant, but you may wish to stock up at the site's supermarket and plan your own al fresco meal on your terrace, maybe with a bottle of the local La Baume Sauvignon Blanc. If you're feeling sociable, take a stroll to the bar where, most evenings in summer, you'll be serenaded by a singer or local band. Unwind, have a dance, before returning to your welcoming, modern holiday home.

Situated on the balmy Côte d'Azur, La Baume enjoys a favourable year-round climate, ideal for those who like to get out and about and explore their surroundings. And there's much to explore.
The fascinating Roman town of Fréjus hides a warren of ancient alleyways, opening out into cobbled, cafe-lined squares. In town, you can visit the Parc Zoologique - set in 50 acres of natural Mediterranean woodland, and home to exotic mammals and birds basking in the Côte d'Azur sunshine.
Natural wonders along this stretch of the coast, and just inland, offer even more thrills. Les Grottes De Baume Obscure is a stunning cave complex, while the French 'Grand Canyon' is a dizzying gorge rising 700 metres above the river Verdon. The Côte d'Azur is a blissful coastline of stylish resorts - Cannes never fails to impress with its dramatic cliffs and coves. Shopping opportunities abound, but don't forget to visit Grasse, the perfume capital of the south of France. And, should you feel compelled to create a memorable meal or two, you'll find no shortage of fresh farm produce at any number of local markets - good buys include fresh fish, olives and, of course, delicious local wines.
