les prairies da la mer -
port grimaud

www

A fabulous retreat, right on the beach, and close to the chic boutiques and bars of Port Grimaud and St Tropez.

The Gulf of St Tropez is a seductive stretch of buzzing resorts, lively cities and surprisingly sedate countryside. And, when all the elements come together - as they do at Les Prairies de la Mer, the result can be very tempting indeed.

For those who seek spirited evenings, lazy days and lots of sightseeing, a second home at Les Prairies comes highly recommended. For the energetic, Les Prairies couldn't be better placed. Your home, just yards from a gorgeous strip of South of France sand, has access to a range of watersports - from windsurfing lessons through to pedalo hire.

With most of the day's action centred on the beach, your site remains blissfully calm - a haven of peace in the warm Mediterranean sun. Come nightfall and the beach is the place to be again, with its friendly beach bar and evening entertainment throughout the summer. A holiday home on Les Prairies is a sociable and good value way to enjoy the fabled South of France good life.

Les Prairies is just a kilometre from the stylish resort of Port Grimaud, with its pastel coloured cafes and villas clustered around a network of canals and tree-lined avenues. You can walk here to buy your croissants fresh each morning. A little inland, the original town of Grimaud is a quaint, picturesque village with stone houses, bistros and fountains over looked by a medieval castle. The interesting antique shops and boutiques are wonderful. A little further away is the Roman town of Fréjus, with its amphitheatre, bustling market and summer-long calendar of festivals. Take a taxi boat along the coast to magical St Tropez which, despite its reputation, still retains the air of a provincial French seaside town - albeit a very stylish one. Enjoy coffee or cocktails along the promenade and shop for local produce at Des Lices market. Those seeking an all-over tan must head for the beautiful Ile du Levant, once a monk's settlement, but now an island devoted to sun worshipping.
